This year has been unexpectedly good for Derbyshire Youth Sailing. Only one event had to be cancelled due to a lack of water and all of the other events were well attended, especially the inter-county event at Staunton Harold, with 35 boats taking part. With one event to go the many of the prizes are still up for grabs. The last event is at Swarkestone Sailing Club on 16th October and following on from that will be the Annual Prizegiving and Awards Ceremony.

Prizes will be awarded for
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each age category.
The named awards will be given for
- Overall Winner
- 1st Senior
- 1st Intermediate
- 1st Junior
- Highest Female Helm
- Highest Male Helm
Along with these there are some additional prizes for other achievements.
Fish and Chips will be delivered at 6pm and prize-giving starts at 6:30pm.
