Derbyshire Youth Sailing

Welcome to DYS event at Glossop.

Details of the event are as below:

1. The gates will be unlocked from 9.00am – There is limited parking near the club house, with more space available in the top car park (turn right immediately after entering to access the top car park)

2. Registration will be available at the clubhouse/outside. Please bring CASH for payment of registration fees

3. Changing rooms and toilets will be open

4. The galley in the clubhouse will be open selling bacon, sausage and egg butties for breakfast. There will also be a choice of beef or veggie bolognaise with garlic bread for lunch (if you are able to place an order for breakfast and/or lunch before Monday 23rd May it would be much appreciated – please email food pre-orders to the Glossop club rep. using the above link, thanks). Homemade cakes, snacks, and hot and cold drinks will be available throughout the day. We accept card payments in the galley.
5. A briefing for competitors will be held outside the club house at 10.30am

6. Racing will commence at 11am. We plan to run one race before lunch and two races back-to-back in the afternoon session, which will be confirmed at the briefing

7. We will have some Toppers available for hire (£10/ boat). Please contact the DYS representative if you wish to hire a boat – preferably a week before so we can sort out boats appropriately!
