Welcome to DYS event at Swarkestone Sailing Club

1.Gates will be unlocked from 8:45am and on site parking is available at the sailing club. The first gate will be closed and we ask that you close it behind you, it will not be locked. It will appear locked from the outside. There is now an additional electric gate but no code is needed just stop where indicated, press the button and the gate will open.
2.Please unload your boat in the car park and walk your boat into the dinghy park. You can rig near the slipway or on the beach, which is a bit further along.
2. Registration will be available at the clubhouse/outside. Please bring CASH for payment of registration fees.
3. Changing rooms and toilets will be open.
4. There’s a galley in the clubhouse selling hot drinks through out the day. Breakfast will be available if pre-ordered: choice of sausage, veggie sausage or bacon cobs. £2 each. Order by email mweighilldys@gmail.com or in response to Facebook post which will go up on the Monday before the event.
5. Sandwiches will be available for lunch with a choice of fillings for £2.50 (ham, cheese, egg mayo, salad or any combination of). Please order and pay at registration. Again, please bring cash.
5. A briefing for competitors will be held outside the club house at 10.30am.
6. Racing will commence at 11am. We plan to run one race before lunch and two races back-to-back in the afternoon session, which will be confirmed at the briefing.
