Welcome to DYS event at Swarkestone Sailing Club

This is last DYS event of the season and will be followed by the DYS Annual Prize Giving and Pizza supper.

Registration will be available in the clubhouse from 9am. A briefing for competitors will be held at 10.30am. Racing will commence at 11am. We plan to run two races back to back before lunch and one race in the afternoon session.

The galley will be selling breakfast cobs and lunch. Hot drinks will be available throughout the day. Please note that the club can only accept cash for payments on the day. Please note that the club can only accept cash for payments on the day.

The main access gate will be unlocked from 8:45am and on site parking is available at the club house. The main access gate will be closed and we kindly ask that you close it behind you; it will not be locked. It will appear locked from the outside, but it opens inwards. There is an additional electric gate further along the drive, but no code is needed. Just stop where indicated, press the button and the gate will open.

Please unload your boat in the car park and walk your boat into the dinghy park. You can rig and launch near the slipway or on the beach, which is a bit further along.
