DYS had the opportunity this year to send a team to the British Keelboat League Sailing at Rutland water on 15th and 16th February, also part of the Universities Sailing League. The team comprised of George Jacobs on helm, supported by Amelia Gay, Phoebe Gay and William Morbey, sailing in RS21s.
The team performed exceptionally well especially given the competition and finished a very impressive 6th, very close behind team Swarkestone Portsmouth, a team made up of ex. DYS sailors.
This event is a great example of what DYS sailors can go on and achieve.
