The NSSA are planning on running a 12 hour race on the weekend of 3rd/4th July at Aztec Upton Warren. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but I have gleaned some information on how the event might be run, so that you can start to make some plans. This is all preliminary information based on the plans for last year and is all subject to change.
The activities will run from mid/late afternoon on Saturday to mid-morning on Sunday , with a 12 Hour Race from early evening to the following morning. In addition to the 12 Hour Race, we hope to have other water activities available, including rafting, bell boat races and the Aqua Park. Teams may enter in double-handed dinghies with a PY number of 1046 or higher. Adapted classes are welcome. Sailability teams are invited to take part in the event. Camping on site will be available for sailors and team managers (own tents required). BBQ food will be available and the onsite Café and Pizza Bus will be open throughout the event to purchase food and drink. The Entry Fee for the event will be approximately £15 per sailor, which will include camping. Food and drink will be available to purchase separately. Please note that teams will not be able to cook within the camping area.
